TagDJ is a product of Conais ("we", "our", or "us"). TagDJ operates as a Shopify application that provides AI-powered product tag generation and description optimization services. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you install and use our application through the Shopify platform.

By installing and using TagDJ, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy.

2. Information We Collect

When you install and use TagDJ, we access and process the following data through the Shopify API:

Store Information: Your Shopify store name, domain, and store owner contact details (email address) necessary for app functionality and communication.
Product Data: Product titles, descriptions, images, variants, tags, metafields, pricing, and other product-related information available through the Shopify Admin API.
Usage Data: Information about how you interact with our application, including features used, actions performed, and timestamps.

We do not collect personal information from your customers or access customer order data.

3. Use of Third-Party AI Services

TagDJ uses third-party AI services to process and generate optimized product content. When you use our AI features, the following data may be sent to our AI processing providers:

Product images (for visual analysis and tag generation)
Product titles and existing descriptions
Product attributes and metadata

Our AI processing is provided by Google Cloud AI services, located in the European Union and the United States. Data transfers to the United States are governed by the EU–U.S. Data Privacy Framework and Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs). Google processes this data solely on our behalf and in accordance with their Data Processing Addendum. Your product data is used solely for generating content within TagDJ and is not used to train AI models.

4. How We Use Your Information

We use the collected information for the following purposes:

To provide and maintain our application's core functionality
To generate AI-powered product tags, descriptions, and metafield content
To optimize and improve your product listings
To communicate with you regarding app updates or support
To monitor and improve application performance and reliability

5. Data Retention

We retain your data only for as long as necessary to provide our services:

Session data (access tokens, temporary processing data) is retained only during active use of the application.
Store configuration data is retained while the app is installed on your store.
AI-generated content is written directly to your Shopify store and is not separately stored by us.
Upon uninstallation of TagDJ, we delete all stored data associated with your store within 30 days.

6. Data Sharing and Disclosure

We do not sell, trade, or rent your personal information. We may share data only in the following circumstances:

Third-Party AI Providers: Product data is sent to third-party AI services for processing as described in Section 3.
Legal Requirements: When required by law, regulation, or legal process.
Business Transfers: In the event of a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets.

7. Data Security

We implement appropriate technical and organizational security measures to protect your data, including encrypted data transmission (HTTPS/TLS), secure storage of access tokens, and regular security reviews. However, no method of transmission over the Internet or electronic storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
